5 Family Members Die On The Way To Their Neighbour’s Funeral

Five family members who died in a fatal motor accident on the way to their neighbor’s funeral have been laid to rest in Akwa Ibom.

The accident which claimed 16 lives, including these five family members (a mother, step-sister, two sons, and daughter-in-law) occurred on their way to a neighbor’s burial at Abak local government.

They were buried on Thursday, October 8, in their hometown Edem Akai, Ukwok, in Ini Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

The tragic news was shared on Facebook.

It is terribe incident today in Usuk Ukwok Ini local govern, Akwa
ibom state as the whole family has been laid to rest today at their
contry home Edem Akai Ukwok.

The incident took place two weeks ago during the fatal accident along
Akamkpa okoyong road, the accident claim 16 lives including a mother,
step sister two sons and daughter-in-law on their way to their
neighbour’s burial at Abak local government.
