The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs, each about the size of a fist. They are located just below the rib cage, one on each side of your spine. Every Healthy kidneys filter about a half cup of blood every minute, removing wastes and extra water to make urine.

For example, a hormone produced by the kidneys stimulates red blood cell production in human body system. About two quarts are removed from the body in the form of urine, and about 198 quarts are recovered. The urine we excrete today has been stored in the bladder for anywhere from 1 to 8 hours.

Stop Too Much Sugar Intake
Diabetes and high blood pressure is mostly caused by too much sugar in the body. And they are very harmful to the kidneys.
Once the blood sugar level gets higher than 180 mg/dl, the kidneys start to spill sugar into the urine. The higher the blood sugar, the more sugar comes out in the urine. If your kidneys are normal, this usually isn’t a problem, but if you have diabetes, too much sugar can cause kidney damage.
A high level of sugar in your blood can cause problems in many parts of your body, including your heart, kidneys, eyes, and brain. Over time, this can lead to kidney disease and kidney failure.
