2. Remove the SIM and memory card
Take out the removable items from the phone. Items like the SIM Card, the memory Card. However, remember that this is a phone with a non-removable battery, so you shouldn’t try to screw out the battery from the phone. One important thing to bear in mind when removing these items is to try as much as possible not to shake the phone to much. This is because shaking the phone too much may give way for water to enter into more parts of the phone.
3. Dry the phone
Dry it with a soft cloth material and be gentle about it. All you have to do is clean the parts with water gently. When drying your phone you should take note of the following:
Never put anything cloth or wool into the charging port
While drying, avoid pressing any button on the phone
Do not shake the phone
Do not put it under fan to dry up
Do not try to charge up the phone
Never use a hair dryer to dry up the phone
4. Put the phone on a dry cloth in a dry place
You have to drop the phone on the dry cloth and leave it to dry for a while.
After leaving it for about 1 to 2 hours, you can then switch on the phone. If you follow the steps listed above, you would notice that your phone would begin to work very fine.
